Happy Birthday AJ!!!

Just a quick post (mostly pictures) from AJ's birthday.  My big 5 year old.  He had a dinosaur party with family and we fed the ducks at the park.  It was fun, and I think he liked it.

5 things about AJ:
1. He loves dinosaurs and wants to be a paleontologist.
2. He is the rebellious kid, he likes to test the limits.
3. He loves to write stories.
4. He is the peacemaker in the family.
5. He is super smart and has a great memory.

I love this kid so much, can't believe how big he is.

Trip to SL

I think I am going to stop keeping a blog.  I just cannot keep up with it.  I do it mostly for me, but it just takes too much of my time.  But since I will probably stop writing on the blog all together I suppose I should at least finish the last posts that I already started but never got around to posting.  Last June we took a trip to SL.  We drove and it was exhausting.  Not sure when we will attempt that drive again.  But it was all worth it to spend time with family.  Stanley was blessed while we were there and we celebrated AJ's birthday.  Not sure if I will get around to posting about those things, but here are a few pics from out trip.

Meeting Stanley

Stanley arrived on April 4th and we all enjoyed meeting and getting to know this little guy.

Grandma G was in town to help us out.

The bunny the kids brought to the hospital for him.

Last belly pic, should be 39 weeks but instead was 1 week old.

JR loves to hold his baby brother.

Happy Birthday JR!!!

Back in March, JR turned 7.  It really amazes me all the time how big he is.  He is growing up way too fast.  We had a fun day spent opening presents, playing at the park, eating dinner at McDonalds and blowing out the candles of his Death Star cake and having homemade snickers ice cream.  Here are a few pics that capture the day.

Showing how old he is.

He had trick candles that kept relighting, which he loved.

7 things about JR.

1. He wants to be a meteorologist when he grows up.
2. He is awesome at reading.
3. He loves being the oldest.
4. He is obedient, will almost always do what he is told.
5. He is getting so tall, he will be as tall if not taller than his dad one day.
6. He loves everything about Star Wars.
7. He is my funny, silly, crazy boy with tons of energy, who still likes to cuddle with mom (most the time).
