JR is really loving having a little brother. He does get frustrated some times that AJ sleeps so much right now. I can't wait until AJ is a little older and really can start playing with JR. He is going to love it. Right now JR loves it when AJ makes any noise. He finds it very funny when AJ burps. He is also quick to tell ask us if we hear it, when AJ makes a sound. "Did you hear Andrew, Mama?" or he will say, "Andrew's crying." It is so sweet to see JR give AJ kisses as well. The one thing that JR is having a hard time with is sharing. Now, of course AJ could careless about that right now, but whenever I pull out a baby toy, like a rattle or something to interact with AJ, JR grabs it from me and says, "Mine". So that one thing we will have to work on in the future. JR has already learned a lot of patients as he sometimes has to wait for the attention he seeks, but he is turning into such a great big brother and he really does love his little brother. He is a really good helper too, and will almost always go and get a diaper, or a burp bib, or AJ's paci, or whatever we ask. I love seeing my boys interact with each other.
Here are a few pics of the boys.
At the hospital, the first time brothers meet. We asked JR if he wanted to hold his brother and he held out his arms.
