Sparklers

We didn't do much for the 4th of July, because it was really wet and rainy all day.  We bought some sparklers, but waited a few days after the 4th to get them out.  The kids still loved it.

Superheroes

I love our local library.  They have an awesome children's area and we try to go every week.  They also plan a ton of fun activities, especially over the summer.  We went to meet some super heroes.  The boys posed for pictures and got autographs, while Annie pointed and said "Spider-man".
AJ was a too nervous to pose with Batman, but he loved Thor, because Thor let him hold his hammer.

Happy Birthday AJ!!!

AJ turned 4 last month.  I discovered I did not take many pictures of the day.  We just did something small, since we celebrated his birthday with family while we were in Salt Lake.  I didn't get much pictures of that either.  Poor middle child. Here are a few pictures from the day.

AJ is just the crazy kid in the family he sure can make us laugh.  The last picture captures his personality exactly.  He wanted a Jake and the Neverland Pirates birthday. So I made cupcake toppers for cupcakes, and decorated a little.  Of course there were balloons.  AJ was shy blowing out the candles, so I guess I didn't get a picture of that. We invited a couple of friends to come over and have cake and ice cream and they stayed and played.  That night we let him pick where we were going to eat and of course he picked McDonalds.

Here are 4 things about AJ

1.  He is such a competitor and he hates to loose, especially to his brother.
2.  He likes to turn into a monster just for fun, and that usually means he will attempt to eat you.
3.  He wants to be a paleontologist when he grows up.
4.  He loves to be read to, and still lets me cuddle him.

Playing in the water

When we were back from our trip the kids were invited to a birthday party, where they got to play in the water.  They loved it.  Here are a few pics in the pool. Annie is a little fish.

Trip to Utah

I am a little behind on updating the blog.  I will try to catch up in the next few days.

We took a trip to Utah as soon as school was out for JR.  It was great to see all the family. The kids loved playing with their cousins. I didn't take all the pictures that I really wanted to, ran out of space on the phone, and just didn't always remember to take pictures, but here a few from our trip.

Annie loved meeting her baby cousin Ryan
