Shortly after JR's birthday, he was eating an apple and discovered he had a loose tooth. After closer examination, we realized that he had two loose teeth. He lost his first last weekend (he pulled it out himself) and he lost his second one today. His second tooth was pretty loose, but we noticed that the adult tooth was coming up behind it, and not really pushing it out. He decided he wanted to let us tie a thread around it and to a door and then slam the door. We did it and it work, his tooth came flying out. We asked him if it hurt. He first said, "no", then said, "a little." I think it shocked him, so I do not think he will let us do that again.
Here is a pic from today after his 2nd tooth came out. You can already see his adult teeth coming right up.

Happy Birthday JR!!!
Exactly one month after JR's birthday, I am getting around to posting about it. Not bad, I suppose. We had a fun day. We decided not to have a friend birthday party this year. We did that last year and it was crazy so not again this year. We surprised him at lunch at school. That kind of back fired because he didn't want to go back to class after that. He told us he was feeling sick and because it was his birthday we took him home. We had brought cookies for his class and he didn't even want to stay to eat them with his class. Because he wasn't really acting sick when we got home, we let him pick where we ate (McDonald's) but we brought it home to eat and our neighbor (JR's best friend right now) came over for cake and ice cream. JR wanted a Transformer birthday, so I decorated a little and made cupcakes with Transformer toppers. Here are some pics from the day.
I decided to do the 20 questions thing with him this year. I thought school age would be a good time to start so here are his 20 questions interview.
I can't believe my baby is 6!!! Where does the time go? He is getting so big.
Here are 6 things about JR.
1. He is such a great big brother to AJ and Annie.
2. He is a great reader and has really started to enjoy reading.
3. He has an awesome imagination and can play in his own little world quite often.
4. He loves everything about tornadoes and storm chasing and is always telling us about the weather.
5. He is very observant and pays attention to things we say even when I don't realize it.
6. He is learning so much everyday, it amazes me the things he says and thinks about.

Hair
Annie's hair is finally getting long enough for me to do some stuff with it. I have had fun experimenting with it, to make it look cute. It is still very thin and there is not much on top, so there is not a whole lot I can do.
I really liked this hair do, but it won't stay in on top, she can easily pull it out, so we do not do it very often. But it is so cute.
This is a standard thing I do during the day to keep her hair out of her eyes.
I love putting pigtails in her hair, but the top isn't long enough yet to just have pigtails, but this is the main hair do I do for her.
She doesn't like me to do her hair. She usually fights me, unless I let her watch TV. Then after it is in, she will only keep it in for a little while, before she yanks it out. I am trying to train her to get used to it, but it is not working yet. I can't wait until her hair is long and thicker on top.
100th day
JR celebrated the 100th day of school, back in January. He was supposed to wear something that had 100 things on it. I made him this silly tie that has 100 buttons. It was destroyed during Gym, but it served its purpose.
