Jonathan has always loved his daddy, but recently he has become a daddy's boy to the extreme. He wants daddy to put him to bed, to give him a bath, to play with him, to rock him, to cuddle him, etc. If daddy is in the room, it must be daddy. Mommy is okay, but only if daddy is not nearby. It is cute, however it makes it harder for Mike to get anything accomplished at home. When Mike has work to do, and is not going to campus to do it, he takes his computer into the spare bedroom and closes the door and we tell Jonathan that daddy is going night night. This worked for a little while, until Jonathan realized that daddy isn't really sleeping when he goes in there. Mike can still go into the spare bedroom to work, but he will probably be interrupted a few times by Jonathan knocking on the door and saying "hello". I guess sometimes daddy is just more fun, lol. I don't mind being second best.

I love the picture! Of course Mike is a great Dad, we all knew that. I am waiting for the day when Bryce converts Brant to Daddy's boy! So far the chocolate addiction is keeping him on my side...
Being second best to daddy is better than being second best to grandma. :)
