The cake.
Opening presents. Notice how serious he is through all these pictures. I couldn't get him to smile at the camera once.
I was trying to get him to hold two fingers up for the camera to show he is 2 years old, but this is as close as he came. LOL. He will do it for me all the time, when I am not trying to get a picture.
Jonathan is learning so much right now. I am amazed at all the things he learns everyday. He loves to do puzzles, and is getting really good at them. He is learning letters, numbers, colors and shapes. He also continues to learn more words all the time and is learning how to talk in sentences more. We can't always understand the whole sentence, but he is talking in them. He also knows many signs and uses them often. Most signs that he knows, he also knows the words, so he speaks and signs together often. I am so glad he does this, because I have heard that usually when kids start to speak they stop using their signs, but he still uses them and keeps learning more. It is really cute to see him try to talk to our friends who are Deaf. He makes up signs a lot (like jabbering with his hands) and adds signs he knows every once in a while, like he is having a conversation. Our friends get a kick out of this. I interpret at church, so JR has started to do this in his pretend play. He pretends to be intrepreting. It is very cute.
Jonathan loves to draw. He will draw and draw and draw. We have given him blank notepads to draw on and he will fill the page. He also loves sports. He loves to play catch and is getting really good at throwing a ball. Mike and I got him a basketball hoop for his birthday and he has already learned how to make a basket pretty accurately. He also loves his cars and plays with them all the time. I could go on and on, basically he is just a really busy kid, and he amazes me all the time. I can't believe how fast he is growing. Where did my baby go?
