Happy Birthday AJ!!!!

I know I am late getting this posted but it seems like I never have time to blog anymore.  AJ turned 2 on June 10 and it was a fun day.  He woke up early as if he knew it was his birthday.  We started the day by letting him open up some presents from Mom and Dad.  The one thing he wanted to do was go to the park and feed the ducks, so we did that after lunch and went out to dinner and then had cake and ice cream at home.  I made some barnyard animal cupcakes that didn’t turn out too silly looking and he loved them.  He was so excited about his birthday this year, it was so cute. When he blew out the candles on his cupcake his face was so precious. I don’t think I have a picture of that, but we have it on video so I will have to post it when I get it downloaded.  We also had another party with more family on Sunday, and he loved that too, especially blowing out the candles on the cake again, but I forgot my camera so don’t have any pics to post of that.

He has also had his 2 year check up where he was 27 lbs (45%) and 35 inches (67%).  So I think he will be tall and skinny like his brother and daddy.

At 2 AJ

Knows most of his colors
Knows his letters
Can count pretty well without missing any numbers to 10.
Loves to read books
Loves to sing songs
Has many songs memorized and sings them randomly throughout the day
Is always trying to keep up with his brother
Is very verbal (At the dr’s appointment the dr was surprised he spoke in full sentences)
Runs all the time (which can be frustrating for me, when he runs away and my pg waddle doesn’t allow me to keep up with him).
Still very much likes being the baby.
Won’t give up his paci.
Wants to name his baby sister Kiki
Is giving up his nap already (some days he still needs it).
Can be quite the stinker to his big brother and really just in general.
Is growing up way to fast.

Happy Birthday little man!!! Love ya.
