Christmas

I finally downloaded pics from Christmas time, so it is time to update the blog with our Christmas events.

Decorating the Christmas tree.

Seeing Santa at the Branch Christmas party

JR almost seems too big to sit on Santa's lap.

Annie did not want to sit on Santa's lap

AJ didn't want to sit either, but tolerated it to get the goodie bag.

We had so many gifts under the tree, that we decided that Christmas eve we were going to open more than the usual new pajama gift.  We let them open the gifts they got for each other (from the dollar store) and the gifts the great-grandparents sent and their cousins, since we would have probably opened those up at Christmas parties before Christmas if we lived closer to family.

The boys got each other the exact same gift.
Christmas jamies

Annie didn't like opening the presents that night, but she loved the necklaces she got.

After Santa arrived

Annie got a kitchen and a little people dollhouse.
(She seemed really spoiled this year by Santa, but we spent less on her then the boys)
JR got a Leaptster GS and Iron-man legos

AJ got a Leapster GS and a Diego backpack with a baby jaguar inside.

The Christmas tree with all the presents underneath from family.

Christmas day.  We had no place to go, so we just spent the day opening presents (which took quite a bit of time) and playing with our new toys.

AJ was pretty excited about Annie's kitchen

Love this face.

Annie loved her doggie piano

Thank you to everyone.  We had a great Christmas.  The kids were spoiled like always and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Traditions that I did not get pictures of:
Baking and decorating cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve.
Tracked Santa on the internet until bedtime.
Homemade pizza for dinner on Christmas Eve
Watching Muppets Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve.
Reading Christmas stories before bed.
Reading the Christmas story in the scriptures before going upstairs to see what Santa brought.
Watching Polar Express Christmas day (thank you netflix, one of JR's new favorites, might have to go buy it so we can do it every year).
Having Hot Cha Cha for dinner Christmas day.

Bryce and I were just saying how long it has been since we saw you guys. Look at how big and cute your kids are! You'll have to let us know when you are in Utah again. We miss you guys!

Nothing is set in stone yet, but we are hoping to be in Utah the last week of May. We will let you know when we know for sure, so we can make sure we see you. We miss you guys too!
