No, no, no. This is Jonathan's favorite word right now. Almost any question you ask him, he says "no". Most the time he really means no as well, sometimes it hard to tell. He is sneaky about it to, because he seems to understand that no means "I don't want", which it does in most cases, but not all. For example, Jonathan hates to have his diaper changed right now. It is torture to make him stop what he is doing to change him. So if you ask him "Jonathan, did you poop?" when you are pretty sure he did, because you can smell it, he says "no". He always give you such a matter of fact no as well, like he knows exactly what you are asking. It's hard not to think it is cute. The other part of this that can kind of be frustrating is at meal time. Jonathan used to be a really good eater and would eat almost anything you gave him, but that is no longer the case. This is how a morning conversation might go for breakfast.

Mom: Jonathan do you want to eat?

Jonathan: (runs to his high chair or the fridge, which mean yes)

Mom: Do you want a pancake?

Jonathan: No

Mom: Do you want french toast?

Jonathan: No

Mom: Do you want yogurt?

Jonathan: No

Mom: Do you want this? (holding up something for him to see)

Jonathan: No

Mom: Do you want goldfish?

Jonathan: Fish (with a big grin)

So yes, Jonathan eats goldfish for breakfast sometimes. This morning he had goldfish and some lucky charms, and a little bit of toast. Unfortunatley, he knows exactly where we keep the goldfish, so even if I didn't ask if he wanted them, he would eventually let me know that is what he wants. He is such a silly kid. I can't help but think he is adorable, even when he act like this.
