So sad today

I logged on today to discover some sad news. Mara (blog is listed on the right) passed away this morning. She was only 6 years old. She has been suffering from a brain tumor for about 10 months. I am so extremely sad about this. The survival rate for this type of cancer is 0%. But with all the miracles that happen everyday, I really had prayed and expected that she would be one of those miracles. For those of you who don't know, Mara is Mike's cousin's daughter. I have only met her a few times and when she was a tiny baby, however I really felt like I got to know her through following the blog. I can't imagine what her family is feeling right now. I know that it was expected, but how can you ever really be prepared to lose your child. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
